Battalion Slaughtered aim straight at the heart of Realm Of Chaos era Bolt Thrower, bringing in a heavy Robotech meets Terminator influence in terms of art design and lyrical content, and cut loose with a gut-churning, very heavy interpretation of that classic BT era. There's not an original or innovative second on this short, seven minute demo but the music is enjoyable nonetheless. Few bands have the temerity to so directly rip-off an antecedent as uncopyable as early Bolt Thrower (War Master from Texas are another) and make it work. Battalion Slaughtered gets it mostly right.
