High Contrast Comedown. While there are a few uncertain moments scattered throughout the record, Fluorescein's debut album High Contrast Comedown is an energetic, appealing collection of punky pop. The hooks hit hard and the melodies catch hold, resulting in an impressive debut album.
High Contrast Comedown Explicit Lyrics. I managed to hear about Fluorescein from this little song called "Kathy's On Crank" that was played on my local rock station. I picked up the album, and haven't been disappointed. But NO ONE has heard of them! They have a song on the Mad Love soundtrack, but other than that they have no exposure. They are a great group, driving songs with a guy who can groan, scream, and growl his way through any song. The lyrics are engaging and interesting. This album was a GREAT purchase. I have never regretted it. Dark dark music, but wonderful.
