Although Lost Goat hasn't escaped the influence of '90s alternative rock, no discussion of Equator would be adequate without mentioning the trio's '70s and '80s influences. Lead singer/bassist Erica has a voice that's somewhere between King Diamond and Geddy Lee of Rush, and the writing on this competent, if uneven, CD makes one think of Diamond and other gothic metallers such as Queensrÿche

Goat is a Swedish alternative and experimental fusion music group. The band to its own publicity-from Korpilombolo, Norrbotten County. Their first album World Music, was released on 20 August 2012 by Rocket Recordings, and in North America on the Sub Pop label. The group released their third studio album, Requiem, in October 2016
