The Wild Heart is the second solo studio album by American singer and songwriter Stevie Nicks. Recording began in late 1982, shortly after the end of Fleetwood Mac's Mirage Tour. After the death of her best friend, Robin Anderson, and with new appreciation for her life and career, Nicks recorded the album in only a few months and was released on June 10, 1983, a year after Fleetwood Mac's Mirage album.
Born To Die is described by Lana Del Rey as a homage to true love and a tribute to living life on the wild side.
Born to Be Wild: A Retrospective was the first attempt at a serious historical overview of Steppenwolf and founder/leader John Kay's career, and considering that the makers limited themselves to two CDs, they did an amazingly good job. A lot of listeners - even those who were around during the band's heyday - who think of Steppenwolf as nothing but successful purveyors of hard rock on the pop charts, may be surprised by what is here. 1969 - and a string of hit singles, This set doesn't give enough exposure to the group's somewhat underrated second album, but otherwise it's a very good cross-section of some of their most popular work interspersed with their more ambitious album cuts, their entire output represented except for the two live albums, Early Steppenwolf and Steppenwolf Live.

You were born just to lose or to win To be someone's child in the wind To live between your mind and feelings Find your way, check it out, learn each day Follow the light, it's not in vain And you will see I'll touch your feelings. You've got your songs, they are everyday For a while. just the only way To feel allright. I go back to the places we've been It feels like you're still there I live all those moments again Wishing you were here. Since you're gone There is an lonely heart Since you're gone Nothin' is like it was. There are memories all over the place Bringin' it back all so clear Remember all of those days Wishing you were here. It’s a fall day in 2017 in New York City.
